Village Groups and Regular Meetings

Women's Institute- meets monthly, usually at 7pm, in the Village Hall.  Contact the Secretary, Olwen Isherwood, on 827298.

St Clement's Women's Club- regular meetings, at 7 for 7.15pm, in the Village Hall.  Contact Mavis Beckett on 828563 or Carol Pollendine on 829626.

Terrington St Clement Flower Club meets regularly in the Village Hall- contact Sue or Holly Atkin on 828145 for details.

Terrington St Clement Pre-School Playgroup (2-5 years) meets on Tuesday and Friday mornings during term time at the Jephson Hall, Sutton Road, Walpole Cross Keys.  The contact is Carole Pickett on 828244.

Terrington Toddlers (0-5 years) meet on Wednesdays in the Village Hall from 9.15-11.15am.  Call Claire on 829327 for more information.

Ladybirds Pre-school group for 2 year olds and up meets at Walpole Cross Keys CP School during termtime on Mon-Thurs, 9.15-11.45am.  Contact (during these times) 07952 397830.

Charity Bingo is held regularly in the Village Hall and as well as providing a social gathering raises a great deal of money for various charities (as reported in the 'Anchor', more than £7000 in 2008!).  For enquiries, contact Julie Gant on 01553 828600.

1st Terrington Scout and Guide Groups- Beavers boys and girls (6-8 years) meet on Fridays, 6-7.30pm. Scouts boys and girls (10 1/2- 14 years) meet on Thursdays, 7-9pm.  There are currently vacancies for both groups.  Cubs are full but names can be taken for the waiting list.  Rainbows, Brownies and Guides groups for the girls also run- check for vacancies.  The Group Scout Leader is Carole Pickett on 828244.  Queries on the Guides can be directed to Jill on 828495.

Young Parents Group- Mothers and Fathers agred 19 years and under can meet, make friends and find support at group meetings in the Village Hall on Thursdays from 9.30 - 11.30am during term time.  Contact Juliet on 773565.

Terrington Residents Association- meets on the first Thursday of each month from 10.30am - 12noon at Clement Court.  Sylvia Pomeroy is the contact on 827036.

The Patient Participation Group for the local surgery meets on alternate months at 7.15pm in the reception area of the surgery.  The next meeting is on Monday 12 October.  Contact Sheila Young on 828720.

There are many activities associated with both churches in the village.  Latest details of these, plus the weekly services, can be found in the monthly Anchor magazine- the editors are Sue and Holly Atkin on 828145.

The Vicar of the Parish Church is Rev Robert Slipper (828430).  There is now a website for the Parish Church:  www.tsc-church.org.uk
